This was dedicated to Richard Diebenkorn, one of my mentors in painting. He died during this week.This is one of 52 images of a specific playing card that was drawn at the beginning of each week in the year. They are a sort of diary of what I was experimenting with during that week. The only parameters that I set was that they be proportioned to a playing card. They are numbered and dated.
