Description
This is from a series I call 'Since Then, A Returning Journey'. A life altering incident happened to me November 2009. Needless to say, the creative aspect of my mind shut down, not off, the pilot light was still there. This series consist mainly of smaller works, usually done with colored pencils, ink, watercolor pencils, charcoal, crayons, acrylic and anything that can make a mark. They are of my usual fare of exploring techniques and materials, my 'what if' factor.

Thanks Jim!! I was sitting at a stop light in down town Shelton, I was watching a lady wearing a statue of liberty costume walk up and down the street waving, enticing people to come into the Liberty tax office. She had little green feet and her hair was pulled back for the liberty crown. Looking down I saw a lot of cigarette butts on the assphalt. I've,always thought the living on a dead end street was mine, but I could be wrong, it has rattled around in my head for quite awhile.
