Description
Naming an abstract is not easy, especially since I don't particularly care to name them, because I don't want to influence the viewer's meanings or emotions. Lets say I did an abstract that looked like a cow jumping over the moon, since I can pretty much replicate anything I want, why would I make an abstract of that, when it was the farthest thing from my mind during the creation of the piece.... hhmmm?? That being said, I was trying to come up with a title for this piece. I spent a long time on this little drawing-painting believe it or not, trying to manipulate triangular shapes and spaces into an imbalanced feeling of balance, a sort of uneasy comfort, anyway, I happen to be listening to a song by Bob Dylan called Isis, just as the line in the song "we came to the pyramids all imbedded in ice", I was staring at the little blue square in the center of the piece. There, I saw the little pyramid all imbedded in ice, well, sorta. Thats how I came up with the title, of course I tweaked it a bit.....................This is from a series I call START 'Since Then, A Return Trip'. A life altering incident happened to me November 2009. Needless to say, the creative aspect of my mind shut down, not off, the pilot light was still there. This series consist mainly of smaller works, usually done with colored pencils, ink, watercolor pencils, charcoal, crayons, acrylic and anything that can make a mark. They are of my usual fare of exploring techniques and materials, my 'what if' factor.

Yes, I think the name fits, especially after reading how you arrived there. It certainly expresses "uneasy comfort," as you said.
