Description
This illustration was done for a company in the SF bay area. The subject matter for these pieces had to do with time and time keeping in history by different cultures. The reason they are designed in this sort of symmetrical shape is because, the left side of the illustration was printed on the side of a page and the right side was printed on the next page, so it was a wrap around design, it was an interesting affect. This dealt with Judaism.....

Thank you very much Lenore, I really appreciate it. This is what I was doing in the mid eighties, I still design the same way because montage is my forte in the business, not a lot of illustrators could do it and make the pieces work, I paint differently now, this way one would put down a wash and pull out what didn't belong, I called it anti painting. I think being a person with a strong sense of design as I am, is what drives me in the abstract realm, plus my inquisitiveness.......
