I did many of these abstracted concepts for murals or very large paintings (wish I could find them).This is the first step in determining what the design or composition will be. At this stage I have no idea what the elements will be, that will be determined by what I see developing as I work on this and live with it for awhile. I see a lot of comet goldfish swimming around, heads and body parts and other organic shapes. I've never been able to bring these to fruition because something always comes up demanding my time.
