Description
Making an egzit or just pass'n through, can't tell or I should say, wont tell...This is from my M series. When I terminated my association with my New York rep, he sent me a very big stack of black matt boards (along with transparencies) that had samples of my work glued onto them, I ripped off as many of the samples as I could, some stuck some didn't, I ended up with a large stack of boards, I couldn't let them go to waste so I started messing around with them, I numbered them and sometimes titled them. The M is the first letter in his last name.

Thank you James, most of the time but not always, I like to quarter up the area to be worked, one quarter has most all the detail (focal point) second one a little less and so on, this way the viewer can rest their eyes and be pulled back into the focal point. In my commercial work where I had to deal with areas for type this factor always came into play. I liked the art better without the type, but some times I would use the type in the design, the end.
