Every once in a while I like to challenge myself by creating something in a round format, where there is no top, bottom, right or left. To see if I can create something that has that distinction, unlike my baseball paintings for plates where you are looking at the art through a round hole more or less. This piece has an up solely because of the title, one assumes escaping from earth's gravity, which is usually always up and out (that's the science), through Zen (that's the metaphysics). You all should try it sometime... The round format that is!!!
