Painted the ceramic vessel , so I had to do something with it. All about juxtaposition, flowers floating like balloons against the solid weight of cup, round shapes against the stripe pattern, flowers closet to cup have more definition informing the abstractness of the ones farther away, and the complimentary color of orange to blue makes a sort of harmony. A totally abstracted still life.
