Artist's Description
A poster for the recent movie 'Computer Chess', a film by Andrew Bujjalski. Since it was sort of derived from the Atari game, and since I did the artwork for that original game, they asked me to create a poster that was in the style of my work at that time, the early 80s. This movie is more about artificial intelligence. The movie was filmed with equipment that was used in those days, an interesting movie.

Thank you Chris, I am really glad this piece conjures up good memories of a time past, it does for me too, believe it or not, I get nostalgic about those times, my young family, and living in California, it was great.

I really like this. I used to try and draw anything that would look like your artwork on the 2600 game cartridges and anything I could find printed in magazines or posters, whatever. This art is distinctly from a happy time as a kid, and it will always be that. Thank you for drawing this, it's still inspiring 30+ years later.
