THANK YOU! This should give you a slight insight as to who I am and what my art is all about, but first a big 'thank you' for dropping by. I was born and raised in Oregon. Thank You Mary for the nice comment, and yes you are right about the confrontive aspect, in its presence it demands attention, I had it framed and hanging in my studio for several years, it always seem to have a permanent place at the corner of my eye. Believe it or not, many of my abstracts are thought out beforehand as sketches on concepts drawings, this was one that stuck close to my original idea...

Love it--could even live with it even though it is so powerful and so dramatic and confrontive yet so free. Definitely get the Motherwell/elegy feel you allude to.

Thank you James, I like that feeling that something has been covered up and change, it makes for an interesting edge and a bit of mystery....

Very "Motherwelly"... beautiful edges.
